Paul – Rehabilitation Support Worker
Paul brings over a decade of experience supporting individuals to improve their health, wellbeing and physical function through personalised exercise and movement. With a lifelong passion for sport and an earlier career spanning 20 years as a professional chef, his transition into health and rehabilitation was driven by a genuine desire to help people achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their quality of life.
Committed to continuous professional development, Paul has built an extensive knowledge base that supports his person-centred approach to rehabilitation. His qualifications include Exercise Referral, Level 4 Low Back Pain Management, Sports Conditioning, the Wright Foundation Exercise with Neurological Conditions course, and advanced nutrition qualifications, including Level 4 Obesity and Diabetes Management.
Paul's holistic approach is further enhanced through his qualifications as a Mental Health & Exercise Coach, Qi Gong and Tai Chi Instructor, and Oxygen Advantage Breath Coach. His additional training in Intrinsic Biomechanics, Fascial Release and Movement Performance Therapy enables him to adapt rehabilitation programmes to meet each individual's needs, helping clients build confidence, improve movement and maximise their independence.
As a Rehabilitation Support Worker with RMR Support Worker Ltd, Paul works alongside clients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised rehabilitation programmes that reflect each person's goals, abilities and aspirations. He is passionate about creating a supportive and motivating environment where individuals feel empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Based in High Wycombe, Paul supports a diverse range of clients with professionalism, empathy and enthusiasm. He believes that rehabilitation should be engaging, meaningful and tailored to the individual, helping people achieve sustainable progress while improving both their physical wellbeing and confidence in everyday life.
