RMR Rehabilitation

Support Workers

RMR rehabilitation support workers are specialist physical activity assistants who help individuals be as active and independent as possible.  We specialise in working with individuals with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Injury, Amputee and other complex needs. Our support workers bridge the gap between clinical therapy and real-life functional progression. When a physiotherapist, occupational therapist or other clinician sets a rehabilitation programme, the RA helps the client carry it out in their daily life.

Our Aim & Mission

Our mission is to provide high-quality rehabilitation support that empowers individuals to achieve greater independence, confidence and participation in everyday life.

We are committed to delivering person-centred support through carefully selected Rehabilitation support workers who are trained, DBS checked and fully insured. We work closely alongside physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure your support is guided by the best possible expertise.

Our Approach

Rehabilitation does not stop when therapy sessions end. We bridge the gap between clinical treatment and long-term functional progression.

Our approach combines:

  • Individualised support planning overseen by our own HCPC registered physiotherapists

  • Goal-focused rehabilitation support

  • Community participation and social inclusion

  • Functional independence development

  • Consistent communication

  • Collaboration with other healthcare professionals where appropriate
